Hello, welcome to Fremantle, Western Australia. Come and relax in this lovely private, peaceful, self-contained cottage. An ideal location to explore historical and 'arty/hip' Fremantle with it's glorious surroundings including cafes, restaurants, beaches and many tourist attractions. Public transport links to Perth handily available. Minimum of 2 nights stay. A late check-in, after 9.00pm, can be arranged by request. **Please note we have a strict policy of a maximum 4 adults only, due to the size & facilities within the property** Perfect for couples, couples with baby, or 2 couples, solo adventurers and business travellers, looking for a quiet, relaxing and friendly spot to enjoy your "home away from home". Set back from the road, The Cottage, has a wood burning heater for toasty warm evenings and is capable of burning through the night to allow you to wake up to a wonderfully cosy atmosphere in the morning. It has its own garden and a secure, gated entrance with parking. It is situated 1.4 kms to a supermarket, post office, pharmacy, and café, makes an ideal base for exploring Fremantle with its famous Cappuccino Strip, Fremantle Market, Fremantle Prison, Maritime Museum, the Round House leading onto Bather's Beach, Fremantle Art Centre which hosts regular live music/art venues and the Fishing Boat Harbour with a variety of restaurants and Little Creatures brewery. South Fremantle offers a fabulous array of good artisan cafes & restaurants Booyeermbara park is a 5 minutes walk away. South Beach is only 2.2km and Leighton Beach 4.3km away. The cottage offers open plan living with a fully functional kitchen, separate full-size bedroom small bathroom and an upstairs gallery. Ceiling fans in all areas provide a lovely breezy feel on the hottest of days. The cottage offers a comfy queen bed with a duvet, blanket, linen & towels ( 2 x bath & 2 x hand) provided. Plenty of closet & draw space is available in a full-size double wardrobe, chest of drawers & 2 bedside tables. Infants can be catered for with a cot & linen in the main bedroom. There is a small bathroom with full-size shower, vanity & toilet. Provided are hand wash, toilet paper, first aid kit and a hairdryer available. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size fridge/ freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, and washing machine – detergent is supplied an iron & ironing board are available on request. On offer in the fridge is fresh milk, mustard, tomato sauce, butter, marmalade/jam. Breakfast is cereal or toast. Also provided is cafetiere coffee, tea, sugar, salt n pepper & cooking oil. The lounge area, situated between 2 sets of sliding doors providing a wonderful open feel & catching the breeze from 2 directions, offers a comfortable leather sofa and smart TV, unlimited WIFI. The gallery is ideal for relaxing & kicking back with a good book or just enjoying the view out over White Gum Valley from the balcony, or it can be used as a 2nd bedroom with twin single beds. A child's bed is available for set up in the main bedroom if required. Please note Children under the age of 16 are NOT permitted to be left unaccompanied in the cottage. At the front of the house is a large tiled patio with built-in stone seat, wooden table & chairs. A gas BBQ is available for use anytime, especially with our lovely sunny days and warm, balmy evenings. *Please don't hesitate to ask if there is anything else you require.
