We look forward to seeing you! 2km from Auroville international township and within walking distance of Kuilapalayam village and all it’s shops, restaurants and other amenities (banks, ATM, money exchange, medical centre/ pharmacy, travel bureau/taxi’s, etc). Like an oasis in the desert, our simple yet cosy environment is great for everyone, be it for one day or one month. Whether you’re a single traveller, a couple or a family with children you’ll feel safe within our walled compound. Plus, surrounded by cool, fragrant greenery, friendly folks and the possibility of a home cooked meal, you’ll certainly feel at home!!! Facilities: Single/twin/double rooms all with attached bathroom. Solar powered hot water. UPS power backup. All rooms have access to a terrace or balcony. There is also a common kitchen available for use. Roof terrace is open for yoga/meditation practice and we can provide you with some private sessions which will let you start your day fully present to your lovingly self. We do not use WiFi for health reasons, but we can provide cabled internet access. Guests have full access to the grounds, including the performance stage, sports ground. Guests are more than welcome to participate in a class of art that is offered at the center located in the next building over. There are multiple performances and events that are held at our Yatra home. Guests are more than welcome to come a observe a concert or an event at our venue. As for the house, the guest will go through our main door and enter to their living facilities just up the stairs. The guests are separate from our home, with us living downstairs and guests living upstairs. ‘Yatra Home Stay’ is companion to ‘Yatra Art and Culture Foundation’ and Yatra Arts Media. We provide regular everyday activities for local children and guide them in their learning journey through arts. Our chief aim is to let children experiment and follow their passions in order to blossom. By being here you’ll be able to witness dreams come true!!! As for Yatra Arts Media, beware you’ll be able to meet great artists in person (and action!). We live for acting and are professional movie makers. Welcome to our universe. Getting around the neighbourhood is quite easy, many people opt to use a taxi or to rent a bicycle or motorbike for the duration of their stay. Many shops and restaurants are also in walking distance on the main road right in front of our house.
