Village life in the heart of Burgundy

Enjoy a peaceful stay in my home surrounded by the natural beauty of the Burgundy countryside. Close to the celebrated inland port of St Jean De Losne (for our boating friends), the Route des Grand Crus (for wine lovers) and the Voie Bleue (for cyclists). My lounge and garden are free for guests to relax in … but I am sorry cooking facilities are not available … by request before you arrive I am happy to cook if the local restaurants are closed. This is my home so I am always available for guests . I am happy to chat. Also happy to give guests the space they require. St Jean De Losne ... nearest main town with all amenities and good restaurants alongside the river 10 Km. Seurre ... also alongside the river 12 km. Dijon ... beautiful with lots of history, restaurants, parks, and wonderful shops 32 km. Beaune ... heart of the vineyards , just stunning , restaurants, many good wine tastings , and the famous ‘ Hospice de Beaune ‘ a must to visit and once again wonderful shopping 30 km. Dole ... Beautiful ( part of the Jura ) quaint a favorite of ours always 32 km. All towns mentioned have markets days .... One of the nice things about living in the countryside is cycling, very popular here and we are situated next to ‘ The Voie Bleue ‘ ... which is a safe track alongside the River , especially for cyclists .... it runs from Luxemburg to Lyon ( quite a ride). On the village green near to the house is a children’s play area and a boule court .
