This beautiful holiday home with private swimming pool (with no vis-à-vis), in La Prade (Aigne) in the Hérault, Occitanie has a vast garden and an independent studio for anyone seeking privacy. The location of this Villa is exceptional, built high, the heat is often appeased by a pleasant breeze. With its own entrance, but also accessible by the main entrance, the studio is designed for 2 people, with a double bed, separate toilet and a bathroom with shower. You will find many spots in the garden shaded by luscious Mediterranean vegetation. The views of the vineyards and landscapes of the Minervois are truly breath-taking, with scenery ranging from mountains, gorges, vineyards and the seaside. The hamlet "La Prade", part of the town of Aigne, is calm, without feeling isolated. The small village of Aigne, lies 6 Km east of Minerve, a medieval village ranked among the most beautiful in France. In Aigne, a fairytale like fortified village, you will through pass a superb stone arch and enter a maze of narrow streets with tall old houses, to the central square where lies the village church. Art workshops are can also be discovered there, specializing in painting and carving on wood or stone. You will also find several cellars where you can taste wines from the region, and a small restaurant (closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays in winter) renowned throughout the region for the quality of its dishes. From the village, you will find hiking routes for beautiful walks perfumed with rosemary and thyme, in the shade of olive and fig trees, among some of the paths are "Grande Randonnées” routes ("Great hiking routes"), all of which are clearly marked out. South of the village, you can stroll through the vineyards to the village of Mailhac, where you can stop and enjoy a coffee and take a break. You can also explore the 'mystic oak Saint Abdon', long associated with Druidism, there you will be able to gaze at the 360 degrees panoramic view of Minerva, La Caunette and the black mountains.
