With a brand new kitchen and bathroom, modern open plan living area and huge flat screen TV, this apartment has everything you need for a luxury weekend away. There is also a Nespresso machine, hotel quality linens including towels and toiletries, and a fully equipped kitchen. Everything is brand new so this apartment has everything you need for a luxury break. One of the best places on the island to launch a stand up paddle board is located only a few minutes away and there is SUP storage onsite if requested. Surrounded by miles of beautiful shoreline, you can explore for hours and stop one of the many local pubs for a drink or food by the water. The apartment has two allocated parking spaces within in the gated complex which is manned 24 hours a day. Within a few seconds walk you will be at the waters edge where you will find an independent café with views of the sea. Northney Marina offers easy access to the motorway taking you to Gunwharf Quays in 20 minutes one direction and Chichester City Centre in 20 minutes the other. Havant train station is only a 5 minute drive which has direct trains from London. The drive to Goodwood will take around 30 mins by car, alternatively there is a short taxi journey to Havant Train station where the train will take you to Chichester where Goodwood run a shuttle service. Hayling Island combines all the attractions of a traditional seaside holiday with excellent sporting and leisure facilities. The island's miles of unspoilt coastline and countryside also offer a haven of peace and tranquillity, where visitors can walk, cycle or relax. Windsurfing was invented on Hayling Island and as well as events linked to this popular activity there are also many opportunities for sailing. Hayling Island holds a European Blue Flag award and its excellent beaches have also been awarded a Tidy Britain Seaside Award for their water quality, safety and cleanliness. The seaside shore is five miles long and offers safe places for enjoying swimming, beach volleyball, picnicking and barbeques, with some facilities accessible to wheelchairs. Originally dependent on fishing, farming and salt production, Hayling Island is now known for its Funland amusement park and holiday centres, which made the island a popular seaside resort from the 1930s onwards. Hayling Island is rich in military history and visitors can discover a fascinating World War II Heritage Trail which takes in many significant historical landmarks. Learn about the history of Mulberry Harbour and its Pillboxes, take a walk to the old railway and visit the COPP memorial along the seafront. The island's proximity to Portsmouth, Chichester and Emsworth makes it an ideal base for touring, with attractions such as Southsea Castle and Staunton Country Park nearby. There are two parking spaces with the property, you can walk to the nearest café, Hayling Island is great to explore by bike and you can hire electric bikes with a 5% discount using the flyer in the property.
