Rate is for two people and includes generous continental breakfast. Opens onto large shared space where you can eat, listen to music, read or relax with a glass of local wine. Guests have access to tea and coffee making facilities, large outside area, free WiFi, television, kayaks, bicycles, barbecue , laundry, library, and an optional personalised tour of Golden Bay (this is an extra cost). Guests can interact with us as much as they wish. We love to share our knowledge of the area and are happy to sit and chat with our guests if they wish. Each room has its own separate entrance so guests can come and go as they please and be quite independent Guests love the mix of rural and coastal environment we enjoy at the Woolshed. Sit surrounded by green and enjoy the numerous birds that populate our property or walk three minutes down the road to one of the most popular beaches in Golden Bay where you can swim all day. Close to the main road it is just a 15 minute drive to Takaka township. A bus service regularly runs between the Abel Tasman National Park, the Heaphy Track (a NZ Great Walk), Takaka township and Nelson. This bus goes right past our front door. Golden Bay is situated between the Abel Tasman and Heaphy tracks. These are popular Great Walks of New Zealand.
