The bungalow is situated in a "jungle" environment but only about 200m from the main road into Kalutara and 500m from the beach (would take about 10 mins walk). Lots of wildlife, monkeys, chipmunks, monitors to see every day. The family who are on hand to help and look after you as required will quickly become a key part that makes your trip unique and memorable. You will be able to use the whole of the bungalow. There is cooking facilities, washing machine, satellite tv and wifi all at no extra cost and for you to use as required. You will have the attentive needs of the family who live right next door as you require them. They can provide all your access and egress needs, collect you from the airport, even cook for you and all I would ask is you consider some reasonable gratuity in return. Basically they are there to look after the house and provide guests with anything they require. You are located in a jungle environment so expect to see monkeys, many wonderful endemic birds, an expanse of fruit and coconut trees and the wonderful sky that being away from city lights has to offer. A private tuk tuk is for your use and a driver is there as you require him. Nothing should impact your stay however as stated above, there is a family on hand to look after your needs.
