I'm normally at home, every other week are also my two girls at home. The house is located on an island without a car bridge to the mainland. The island has about 200 households and a circumference of over 3 km. The island itself is a uniquely relaxing haven close to the big city bustle and variety. It offers two child-friendly public bathing areas / beaches and two playgrounds / areas as well as a joint tennis court. The island has a unique and well-renowned "at home" restaurant called David at home who quickly made a name for themselves, see (Website hidden by Airbnb) hidden)/. The island also has a Loge offering uncommercial Pub activities, preferably on Fridays during the summer, sometimes with entertainment and / or grilling. In summer there are regular boats with "Waxholmsbolaget" to and from Ropsten. The journey only takes about 5 minutes, then metro 8 minutes to Stockholm Central. November 1 to April 15, there is also a pedestrian bridge, which means that you can go to the car park at Långängsstrand in Stocksund alternative to public bus service, about 1 km, on the mainland. It is about 3 km to the subway at Danderyd Hospital (one of the largest hospitals in Stockholm). Both lines of communication offer full access to Stockholm's culture / shopping and tourist offerings. By boat you reach three petrol stations and a small shop within 5 minutes. On the mainland side, it is about 1-1.5 km to Stocksund Center that includes a supermarket, health center and library. Beside Danderyd Hospital is a slightly larger shopping center, Mörby Center, which you can reach without your own car. So why not take a short run or walk directly onto the island before / after dinner or just relax on the patio. Across the bay you can reach the tracks of "Lidingöloppet" of 30 km and several other running-/ hiking trails in "Lill-Jans skogen". My personal favorite is the (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) km long stroll around the amazing Brunnsviken with nice gardens / parks, rocks, and good food at Brunnsvikens Värdshus (Inn). You also pass Crown Princess's residence and other royal buildings and the Butterfly House when passing through the Royal Park of Haga. The rent also includes access to a "boatpool", where we collectively owns a number of rowboats to quickly and easily take us the shortest distance from Stocksund, Svanholmsparken over to Tranholmen.
