This little gem of a cottage nestles on the hillside of the hamlet of Servolle. The house has been totally rebuilt to a high standard and was completed in 2013. The lounge area is equipped with a wood burner, ideal for year round comfort, completed by underfloor heating. The partly covered terrace houses a barbecue, and offers shade from the hot summer sun.The glorious infinity pool (30m from the house and is accessed via few steps) and the large garden offer views over the surrounding countryside. There is a small restaurant within 5 minutes drive, there are shops and a supermarket in pretty Montmoreau (15 mn), a beach lake at the very pretty village of Aubeterre (10 mn), golf, fishing, and if you come in September the Classic Cars Street Race around the old ramparts in the lovely town of Angouleme is a must.
