The house has large terraces, sun loungers and an outdoor hot tub just below the spacious sun terrace. All set in a large romantic hillside garden with olive trees. The neighborhood is in a beautiful rural area and has a scattering of other residential homes. Above the property there is a private house with truck parking, the lakeside road that leads to Colico runs along the opposite side of the bay. This modern country style, rustic holiday home has been extensively renovated. The comfortable living area extends over the ground floor: there is a living room with sofa bed, an eat-in kitchen with dining table, a wine cellar and access out on to a large furnished terrace with a stone built barbecue. Upstairs on the first floor, is a double bedroom with an additional child’s bed just above the master bed. The house is built on a sloping hillside allowing access on to the upper panoramic terrace from the bedroom. Enjoy the modern-rustic style of this well presented and lovingly cared for holiday home. There’s wood flooring throughout the majority of the house, with tile flooring in the bathroom. The house is decorated in a warm colors using a wash technique. The is a stone cellar to store wine and food. - The furnished terrace leads into the living area with a sofa bed. Next to it is a kitchen with dinning table. The bathroom is next to the living room, it’s modern with a shower, washbasin, toilet and bidet. A wooden staircase with hand rail leads upstairs to the double bedroom with a separate child's bed and has access to the upper terrace. 1 double bedroom with extra-bed, 1 sofa bed, 1 bathroom total area about 160 m² - inside about 70 m² - outside about 90 m² - On-site Mobility: About 200m above the house there’s a grocery store that sells fresh bread. There are two restaurants in the village center as well as other restaurants about 200m south on the road to Varenna. The famous Abbey of Piona with its own boat dock is also located within walking distance. The authentic Crotto restaurant, which is located on the way to the Abbey, is known for it’s local Lombard specialties and stunning location right on the lake. This holiday home makes a great starting point for hiking and mountain biking tours too. You can park your car on the private land in front of the house. A fine pebble beach with spacious view to the south, is below Olgiasca-South - distance ca. 700 m. Rustico degli Ulivi enjoys a wonderfully green location however just a few minutes away is Olgiasca, the picturesque hamlet of Corenno Plinio with its castle, plus Piona, Colico and many more beautiful neighboring towns.
