Beautiful self-contained lodge in quiet village

The guest house is self-contained, with parking and a private courtyard. The wooden clad lodge makes the perfect get-away with its beautifully decorated interiors. The lodge has a kitchen, breakfast bar for dining, lounge, bathroom & one bedroom with a double bed. Set in the historic village of Saltford, it’s within walking distance of Saltford Golf Club and is the perfect base for exploring the heritage city of Bath (10min drive) and the bustling city of Bristol (20min drive). From the courtyard, you enter the lodge through french doors into a stylish shaker style kitchen including oven, hob, sink, fridge and cupboard space. All kitchenware provided. It also includes tea, coffee and milk. A solid oak breakfast bar divides the kitchen from the cosy lounge with smart TV, wifi, a library of books and reading lamps. The modern bedroom has double bed with storage underneath, reading lamps and bedside tables and a lovely mid century wooden chair. The bathroom has a large walk in shower and modern bathroom furniture. Large windows at the front of the lounge and bedroom have white slatted blinds to allow the sunshine in but also provides privacy. The courtyard is private with a table and chairs where you can dine alfresco if the weather permits. When you pull into the drive, your entrance is the tall wooden gate to the right (looking at the property). The gate leads you into your own private courtyard. There are French doors into the property from the courtyard. We are more than happy to meet you on arrival, however the key is in a safe next to the front door – details will be provided before your arrival. We only live next door and are available if you have any questions or advice on the local area. You are also welcome to email, text or phone us if we are not around. We have parking on site. The property is a 10min drive from Bath and a 20min drive from Bristol. There is a bus stop within walking distance (5mins) with regular buses into Bath City Centre and Bristol City Centre. There is also a Park and Ride at Newbridge into Bath City Centre which is only a 4 minute drive away. Bath Spa University, Newton Park campus is a 5 minute drive away. We welcome pets.
