Ancient stone cottage located in hill top village on the edge of the Cotswolds and 6 miles from the historic city of Bath. Convenient for Lucknam Park, Badminton, Castle Combe, Somerset/Wiltshire. The village has two country pubs, convenience store & post office. Nearby farm shops and a 24 hour shop/garage in Box. Free on street parking. Recently renovated. Quality linen and towels, guests have private use of the small sun trap front garden. The sitting room features a log burning stove with logs included for your stay & underfloor heating. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, fridge & freezer. I will provide local and organic produce including milk, butter, bread, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and preserves as well as oil, vinegar & herbs. Colerne is a friendly hill top village with stunning views of Box valley and there are many lovely walks. Just 6 miles from the city of Bath and 19 miles from Bristol. Nearest train station is Chippenham or Bath. Free on street parking. It may be possible for us to save you an on street parking space for your arrival on request depending on arrival time. The spiral staircase is particularly narrow and steep so please be aware of this before you make a booking. There is also a small attic space that is not for use. There is space for a travel cot upstairs or downstairs but please note there are no stair gates or fire guard. Unsuitable for mobile babies or young children.
