Please note that the farm is lost in the fields, where humans are not the only rulers. We are surrounded by bees ans wasps, butterflies and normal flies, spiders, ants, frogs, boars, deers, foxes, rabbits, mice … Thus, although the housekeepers are doing the best they can, you could meet some weird inhabitants, and we apologize for that. A car is mandatory This farm has been built around 1830. It was surrounded by huge fields, that have been sold over the years, to the other farmers (wheat, barley and colza). During World War II, the Les Foix farm has been a shelter for the local resistants. Located on the top of a hill, it provided food and shelter for the resistants hidden in the surrounding woods. Monsieur Cherpi, the former house master, has hidden many american soldiers from the germans, in the hayloft. Among the farm elements that are still existing, one can notice the feeding trays, used as a kitchen counter, the stables at the entrance of the yard, or the farm shed that has been transformed into the pool house. In the living room, one can see old pictures telling this story.
