Aaramgah-The Alpine Farm Stay

Our Farm Stay, built in the middle of an apple orchard is located 12 kms downhill from peaks of Narkanda. It is surrounded by alpine forest and offers a panoramic view of the snow clad Himalayan range and four districts of Himachal Pradesh. Freshly built property is an extension of our family house ten paces away. Equipped with modern amenities, it is handcrafted with tasteful wooden interiors and features a stone facade. It comprises six rooms and a separate dinning area with in-house cook. All the rooms are nestled in our family managed Apple orchard so all our guests will get the opportunity to take a stroll, interact with the locals, and experience the beauty of Himachal's apple farming up close and personal. Equipped with all modern amenities, all rooms come with attached bathrooms with running hot/cold water, western toilets, and showers. To make your stay comfortable, we provide quality bed linen, blankets, and heaters in all rooms. Our star attraction remains our open space area with a beautiful view of the mountains and the forest. All guests will have access to a common dining area, apple orchard with on-farm activities (subject to season), our family home, and the nearby forest trails. Environmentally responsible behaviour is encouraged and appreciated, always. Me and my family live 10 paces away from the Farm Stay so we are always available in case you need our assistance. We look forward to interact with all our guests but your privacy will be maintained at all times. You will have your separate and own key to the room. Other spaces are shared amongst guests. Situated in a quaint village - Joksha, our Farmstay is 400 meters from NH5 towards Spiti and well connected to the famous - Hatu Peak, Tani Jubbar Lake, oldest Christ Church in Kotgarh, and a day-treak destination to Dethu Temple The nearby market is about 2 kms away that offers access to all basic facilities such as ATM/ small eating joints, and telecom services We are connected to the NH5 through a link road of about 400m through a forest trail. A pick and park can be arranged if drivers would feel reluctant. Nevertheless, we have ample parking space on the property. Please remember to keep the windows and doors shut when unattended to avoid monkey troubles. We requests all our guests to be sagacious with water use to help us maintain a green space.
