Willow Cottage is 1 1/2 miles from Framlingham which is a lovely market town with a historic castle and some lovely eating places and pubs to explore. The cottage is situated in a quiet rural location set in a two acre garden including a fishing lake. Ideal for exploring the Suffolk coastal area, Aldeburgh and Southwold. The bird reserve at Minsmere, Snape Maltings and Concert Hall, forest walks as well as cycling and lovely villages and pubs to discover. Willow Cottage is a beautiful 17th Century cottage set in the idyllic Suffolk countryside. All rooms are fully furnished with the appropriate amenities. The lounge features a large fireplace with a wood burner, a TV with DVD and comfortable sofas and french doors to the garden. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with an oven,hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. There is a separate dining room with seating for 6. Upstairs the master bedroom has a wrought iron king size bed and en-suite with a bath. The second bedroom has a double bed and there is a second bathroom downstairs with a large jet shower. There is a very large private garden with outdoor seating and a BBQ, just a short walk across the garden there is a lake where guests are welcome to fish or just simply enjoy the wild life. Guests will be able to access all areas of the cottage and its private garden as well as a beautiful fishing lake (with pike,tench and rudd) , fishing equipment is not provided.There is also a dog kennel for wet dogs( max of 2 dogs), a laundry room and off-road parking. I live near to Willow Cottage and I am happy to be contacted if there are any problems, The cottage has a network of footpaths adjacent to it and is in a lovely quiet location and yet provides easy access to Framlingham and Dennington. Golf courses at Cretingham, Aldeburgh and Woodbridge and Easton farm park within 5 miles. A car is essential There are 2 chalets on the same site, but they do not share the gardens but can access the lake and Willow cottage is very private and secluded from them, although they are ideal for larger groups as additional accommodation. We lamb in February and March and guest are welcome to come and visit,watch lambing and help feed only a mile from the cottage.
