We are a gentle 10 minutes walk from the famous Stroud Farmers Market and lots of great independent shops & restaurants. Also Waitrose is conveniently just down the hill. The Stroud mainline station, is right there, just 10 mins stroll away. No transport is required unusually for this area The new Shaker kitchen with huge skylight has Smeg & Fisher Paykel fittings, Arkle water carbonator and kitchen island for lazy brunches. And Rodborough Fort and the surrounding common lands, which are great for walking. ‘The Heavens’ are a short yomp on the flat to beautiful open countryside. Great local pubs are right on hand, Tony’s Kitchen at the Bisley serves delicious food and is nearly next door. There is parking We love the property for the closeness to the railway station - you do not need a car which is rare in the Cotswolds We also love electric bikes here - ask us about them! The cottage is old and a bit higgledy piggldy with quite steep stairs. We put in underfloor-heating to keep those flagstones and your toes warm!
