Great city and ocean views, 300m to Merewether beach and ocean baths, and 200m from Glenrock reserve and coastal walks. Private entrance this modern, air conditioned, 8x5 meter studio has a small kitchenette for basic meal prep, lounge and bathroom. Close to Merewether Surf House, Beaches Hotel, Junction and Darby Street. Newcastle is the 20 min town. We are 6 mins to CBD, 15-20 mins to University of Newcastle, John Hunter Hospital, McDonald Jones stadium. 1 hour to hunter valley Private entrance, entire studio. the 40 sq meter studio has a queen bed, small kitchenette for basic meal prep, lounge and modern private bathroom. Good space for two adults. For short stays the studio and small balcony are the only area accessible but for any long term stays access to the back garden and BBQ area is negotiable. I live on the property and are proud of Newcastle and surrounds so are happy to share experiences and recommend things to do or how to get around. I have travelled extensively OS and Oz and especially enjoy Sydney, Melbourne and the East Coast and would love to share our experiences with you if you would like but we are equally happy to leave you alone and let you work, explore and enjoy this beautiful part of the world Merewether includes some of Newcastle's most famous surf beaches. Dixon Park Beach leads south onto Merewether Beach and a little further to the more isolated Burwood Beach which leads to Glenrock Lagoon. At the southern end of Merewether Beach are the Merewether Ocean Baths, the largest ocean baths in the Southern Hemisphere. Our home is on the southern headland, between iconic Merewether Ocean Baths and isolated Burwood beach. Merewether and The Junction are well known for their restaurants and entertainment opportunities and Merewether Surf House and The Beaches Hotel are also a stones throw away. There is only one car space available but access to free on street parking close by. Please park on the grass area at the front of the property and let us know if you need more then one car space. Bus Public transport is about 300 meters away in John Pde., if you are arriving by public transport let us know and we will do our best to assist with getting here.
