Cozy and comfortable private caravan on Dartmoor

Peaceful and private caravan in its own secluded setting with views of fields and trees. Situated on Dartmoor which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. If you want to get away from it all and have total peace and privacy, this is the place for you. The caravan is like a haven of tranquility. You can sit out on the deck in the evening and listen to the birdsong or sit by the wood burner in the caravan reading a book. There is also a lawned area with 2 benches and a fire pit. In the day there are beautiful walks in every direction and you can visit the horses on our farm. The bedroom has a double bed and there's a double futon in the living area which can be used as a sofa or an extra bed. There is a toilet and shower in the caravan. You can walk across our fields and onto open moorland. We can point you in the right direction. Go and say hello to our ponies but please don’t give them carrots or apples! We are here to help if you need us or fancy a chat but we are also happy to leave you in peace if that's what you prefer. There are wonderful walks in every direction with tors to climb and ancient stone settlements to visit. Or you can walk down to the river and find wonderful secluded spots for wild swimming. Spitchwick Common is a very popular swimming and sunbathing area that is a 2-3 minutes drive from here. Ashburton is the nearest town with several great restaurants, delis and supermarkets plus an array of antique shops. And there are many beautiful beaches a short drive from here. You will need a car to get here. There is no TV and no wifi at the caravan. It's really a place to reconnect with your loved ones without the distractions of modern technology. The bed linen is provided for the main bed but please bring your own duvet cover, sheet and pillow cases if you are also using the futon. Please bring your own towels.
