If you need 5th room for 1 or 2 persons you have to book for 10 persons Close to the M5, with its central location it is ideal for exploring Mid-Devon, North Devon Coast, Exmoor, Exeter and South Devon Although totally updated Partridge Farmhouse retains many original and quirky features including exposed beams, inglenook fireplace and original bread oven. Please note though that one of the two staircases is particularly steep and some of the doorways are within head height for taller people! Lovely views of the Devon countryside from the house and garden. There are extensive portfolios in the house detailing our favourite pubs and restaurants, walks and days out. The large kitchen is equipped with hob, oven, microwave, large fridge / freezer, dishwasher, mixer, toaster etc. and everything to enable you to cook with ease. The utility room has an automatic washing machine and separate tumble drier. There is a large TV, DVD / Bluray player with a good supply of films and a Chromecast. A Bluetooth speaker in the Kitchen lets you play your own music there. In addition to full central heating there is a log-burner in the lounge and an initial supply of logs. The property has superfast broadband with WiFi available through most of the property. An AirPrint enabled printer is available. Outside there is plenty of parking and a garden with outside furniture and barbecue. Badminton net, Basketball hoop and Table Tennis facilities provided. The owners Bruce and Christine and manager Charlotte all live only a few minutes away and one or other will usually be there to meet you in person on arrival. If this is not possible for any reason you will be able to obtain the keys to let yourself in from a key safe and we will meet you later. You will be able to access the drive gate code under 'House Manual' once you have booked. We are only a phone call away to sort out anything for you. She will generally be able to accept supermarket deliveries for you. Fantastic views of the Devon countryside from the house and garden with fabulous peace and quiet. There are great walks in the vicinity. The North Devon Link road, A361 is only a couple of miles away and being so centrally situated in the county it is superbly situated for visiting the sights over much of Devon. Partridge Farmhouse is a quarter of a mile from the village of Templeton, (no shopping or pub) approximately 5 miles from the market town of Tiverton, 12 miles from Tiverton Parkway station. A car is invaluable for enjoying the surrounding area. Bed linen and towels are provided. Rice, flour, coffee, tea, sugar, oil, barbecue charcoal provided to get you started. Partridge Farmhouse is secluded with dark skies at night and very quiet! Please remember though that the farmhouse is surrounded by farmland with sheep and cattle so dogs cannot be allowed to roam free. There is a neighbouring shoot so in winter gunfire can be heard on shooting days. Up to two dogs accepted at £30 per stay. Unfortunately there is only limited mobile telephone signal at Partridge Farmhouse, but there is a BT landline for emergencies and mobiles can be diverted to the land line. Newer mobiles can make use of the internet connection.
