Valad Farm Stay

Located in the remote village of valad in wayanad, this is a perfect spot for a weekend retreat. The villa lies in the midst of a 15 acre coffee and pepper plantation. All meals including breakfast, lunch & dinner (basic Kerala style) can be arranged on request at nominal charges (Rs.650/day for the cook (check-in & check-out counted as separate days if cook's services are taken )+ cost of groceries ). The bills (handwritten in Malayalam from the nearest store) for groceries will be shared. The villa is away from the hustle and bustle of town. There is a small stream close by. A 20 minute leisure walk amidst plantation areas would lead you to what we like to call our own ‘7 feet fall’. This is the perfect place to break away and recoup. Guests have access to all areas of the villa and the plantation. Guests can contact on phone or via email. We are available through Airbnb chat anytime. The house is inside a coffee plantation. The nearest house is about 150 metres away. The final approach to the property (about 500 metres) is a mud road and would require careful driving. In case you do not wish to drive this stretch with your car, we have a safe parking available as well as a 4x4 to take you to the villa. BSNL and Idea mobile networks have good coverage in the area. Other mobile networks do not offer strong signals within the villa. However, there is a landphone available and can be used for emergencies. Campfire can be arranged for Rs. 500. also, since the villa is in the middle of a plantation, you could come across a few friendly spiders :)
