The Quarters is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a great base to explore the Lakes, the coast, the Yorkshire Dales and the Trough of Bowland. It is close to restaurants, family-friendly activities, and public transport. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets). There are 3 pubs, 5 churches, a shop, garage, doctors, pharmacy and a Take-away. The more days you stay the cheaper the daily rate. The Quarters have one price rate, it's fantastic accessibility specification, and we also accept pets happily at no extra charge. In a central but tranquil village location, down a quiet lane with a garden with a stream, and no parking issues- we have a large private car-park. The Lune valley in which the Quarters is situated is flat, with good cycle paths which take you to Lancaster, and beyond to Glasson dock, or Morecambe, completely off road. There are 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room with a double sofa-bed, and a luxurious wet-room. all of the apartment has been designed for wheel-chair access. There is a garden, with a stream, specifically for your use. A good place to have a barbeque! A large, spacious, private carpark. We live next door so are on hand to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Although there is a key safe so you can arrive anytime after 3pm, if you know the approximate time of your arrival then we endeavour to be there to welcome you and show you in. This stunning area of North Lancashire is close to the Universities of Lancaster and Cumbria, Lake District, Blackpool & Yorkshire Dales. The Quarters a wheelchair accessible ground floor apartment, is only four miles from historic Lancaster, Caton is a small village, with good pubs and shops; we are centrally located in a quiet lane. Suitable for all, including, families, wheelchair users and visually impaired people. The Quarters in Caton is 2 miles from Junction 34 on the M6. It is 4 miles to Lancaster and there is a regular daytime service to and from Caton to Lancaster. Lancaster is well connected as the Main West coast Railway gives access to Manchester, Manchester Airport, London and Scotland. You can normally access the apartment after 3 pm, although if travelling by car you can leave the car parked up earlier and explore the local area. Check-out time is usually 10am. You can access the key when you arrive at anytime after 3pm so you don't need to worry if you are late or delayed.
