Mountview Wines Cabin, boutique vineyard setting

Set amongst pine trees in the Granite Belt's wine district, this Cabin is beautifully appointed and a short walk from the cellar door where you can relax in front of the fire sampling some of the districts award winning wines. With a bike trail on the doorstep, bushwalking and plenty of sightseeing opportunities close by, there's plenty to do. Or you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the pure country serenity. The space The cabin itself is a studio apartment with it's own bathroom and kitchen containing a full sized fridge, electric hotplate, microwave oven and bbq on the deck for cooking. To keep you warm on those chilly nights the cabin is air conditioned and has an electric blanket on the bed. Mountview Wines' cellar door is just walking distance from the cottage. The winery is one of the oldest and most historic of the district, and is the makers of the popular drop, The Bloody Good Red. The property is 40 acres and overlooks both the Vineyard and valley. At sunset native kangaroos play around the vines to the delight of visitors. Public transport is limited, but tours and transfers from Stanthorpe or Brisbane can be arranged.
