The Sugar Hut @ The Firs

A romantic bolthole with a wood fired hot tub in the heart of the Brecon Beacons with breath taking views over the Sugarloaf and the Black mountains. Its less than three miles to the pretty market town of Abergavenny ‘The Gateway to Wales’ and four miles to Crickhowell which has been awarded ‘the Great British High Street Award’. They both offer an excellent range of independent shops, restaurants, historic sites, castles, and museums to explore. We have some of the best walking and cycling routes within our area that you can enjoy from the doorstep, you can explore the Brecon beacons, the Black mountains and join (route 42) cycle path or the canal tow path which runs for miles through some very scenic countryside- and its flat! Or you could enjoy a stroll down to the local village of Govilon with its traditional village shop and pub. We also have a local fish and chip shop just a 20 minute walk away in the village of Gilwern.
