Sky Lark is a lovingly restored cottage hideaway for two with a wealth of original features and a cosy wood burner. It’s also perfect for couples who want to bring their canine pal too! Located near the pretty village of St Keyne, it's just three miles from Liskeard and close to the well-known historic fishing ports of Looe, Polperro and Fowey. Sky Lark is situated on Killigorrick Farm in the Looe Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty renowned for its peace and tranquillity. It's perfect for exploring the charms of South Cornwall or for simply relaxing amongst glorious countryside close to the sea. Sky Lark features a cosy lounge with wood burner, galley kitchen, spacious double bedroom and bathroom with separate shower. Traditional features, such as exposed beams and an original fireplace create a romantic atmosphere. You're greeted with a spacious reception area with an original fireplace, providing a second seating area. The open plan living space with exposed beams comprises a sitting room with wood burning stove for cosy evenings and a neat little dining area. There's a well-equipped galley kitchen with a slate floor and access to your private courtyard garden. Complete with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, it's a delightful spot to relax and provides the perfect place for al fresco dining in peace and tranquility. Upstairs the spacious double bedroom with 5' bed has a vaulted ceiling with exposed rafters and a sitting area. We can also provide a travel cot and highchair if you have a little one in tow, although cot linen is not provided. The large bathroom with a separate double shower completes the first floor. THE LAYOUT Ground floor: Large reception area with original fireplace, providing a second seating area. If required this area could easily accommodate a single bed on request. Open plan sitting room with wood panelling, a wood burning stove in an original fireplace for cosy evenings and a dining area. Modern kitchen with a slate floor and door onto a large private courtyard garden with a barbecue. First floor: Large double bedroom, with a 5′ bed, a sitting area and exposed beams.
