Walking distance from the safe swimming beach is Keela-Wee, a 2 storey home featuring water views towards both French & Phillip Islands. Wonderful family facilities which include secure front & back gardens and LINEN & TOWELS PROVIDED. You will feel at home when entering Keela-Wee and can relax on the deck enjoying lovely views while the kids are entertained in other parts of the home and secured gardens. Philip Island, Penguins, Koalas, Moto GP Circuit, Surf Beaches and more are all close by. Coronet Bay is a quiet coastal town located 114 km south-east of Melbourne on the eastern shore of Western Port Bay. The town serves as a holiday destination with a focus on recreational fishing. Fall in love with a walk on the beach or viewing an amazing sunset, an escape so close to Melbourne a weekend getaway can easily become a reality. The house consists of four bedrooms, private upstairs master bedroom with king bed and three bedrooms downstairs, two bedrooms hosting a queen bed each (one bedroom also has a cot), and another bedroom with two sets of bunks. ALL LINEN, TOWELS & FACE WASHERS ARE PROVIDED IN THE PRICE. Two bathrooms (one upstairs with toilet and one downstairs with separate toilet). Little perks of the house are FREE WIFI, Netflix, a vintage arcade machine, Nespresso coffee machine (with pods provided), fridge with filtered water/ice dispenser, an outdoor shower, large chalkboard on kids deck, Springfree trampoline and a great adventure playground (to keep the kids entertained) as well as plenty of books and games. There is a Weber Q on the main deck for your barbecuing needs and a high chair and baby gate (for the deck stairs) is also available on request at no extra charge. Tea towels, salt, pepper, cooking oil, laundry powder, cleaning supplies etc are all provided. There are plenty of cooking utensils, pots / pans and serving ware, as well as a sandwich press for toasties. The whole house and secured gardens, with kids play equipment, is available for use by the guests. Access to the house is by Keyless Entry. A personal code will be supplied to you before your arrival. Coronet Bay is a small quiet coastal town with a safe swimming beach. A newly updated boat ramp is available in the neighbouring town of Corinella, which is also a popular spot for fishing off the pier. Smaller vessels can be launched at the Coronet Bay foreshore which is straight down the road from Keela-Wee. The foreshore also has electric BBQs, an art sculpture display based on local stories and events and a children’s playground with spectacular water views and toilet facilities. The house is approximately 15 minutes drive to San Remo (off peak times) which is the gateway to Phillip Island for the range of sightseeing and activities that are available there. San Remo also host Pelican feeding daily at 12 noon which is a free event and has a range of different restaurants, cafes and pubs. There is a fully equipped kitchen with coffee, tea and general staples at the house including cooking oil, plastic wrap, foil etc. Coronet Bay has a general store with basic groceries and supplies. The closest supermarkets are IGA in San Remo (around 15 minutes drive) and Coles, Woolworths or Aldi in Wonthaggi (around 20 minutes drive). It is best to shop for supplies before you arrive. Checkout of 12pm (midday) is included unless there is another booking following then checkout will be at 10am. I am happy to try and accommodate different check in times if needed. There is a 2 to 4 night minimum for most days of the year, please check the calendar.
