Gateway to the Vatican - by the sea
A safe, spotless, self-contained studio, only a short walk from the public beach in Ladispoli, yet only a 20 minute train ride from San Pietro station in the heart of Vatican City. Peaceful, with a direct line to the beating heart of immortal Rome. A completely self-contained studio on two levels, spotlessly kept and totally safe. There is everything that we would like for ourselves, 2 x cable TV, A/C, Wi-Fi, a terrace, a large double bed and a bathroom with bidet. Although the apartment is set up for two guests, the additional sofabed would easily accommodate two children, or at a push, a further couple. You have full access to our small front garden, as well as your own little terrace if you want to take in some of the Lazio sun. This studio is an extension to our house. We will share a secure gate. As there is a separate entrance to which you will have the key, you can have as much or as little interaction with us. We speak Italian and German, but should there be an issue to sort out in English, we have native English-speaking friends who will be able to help. Ladispoli is an old seaside resort in a fertile vegetable-growing area with direct access to Rome by train or car. The sea with our public beaches and the old town with its restaurants and coffee bars is within walking distance. Our house however is in a very quiet part of town. San Pietro station in Vatican City is 20 minutes from Ladispoli station, which in turn is one minute from our doorstep. Rome Fiumicino Airport is also a short train journey away, or, if you have a car, a short drive down the autostrada. In our street, there is free parking outside our house, or just around the corner. You can either be entirely self-catering, or we could happily provide a typical Italian breakfast for you, fresh from our kitchen next door. Whichever you prefer.
