A TRADITIONAL WA HOLIDAY! Less than one hour south of Perth on the way to Busselton and Margaret River. Perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Great holiday house in the sleepy older area of Golden Bay. Spacious, comfortable, well presented 3 bedroom house with lots of room. Only a 15 min walk to a stunning beach, with a fantastic kids’ playground). Or just a minute in the car (if you don’t fancy a walk) plus another minute drive to the lovely local dog beach. Secure double garage, lovely quality furnishings, very comfortable beds and pet friendly! No squishing needed with 3 separate bedrooms, a queen bed, double bed and 2 bunk beds. Kitchen well stocked (oils, vinegar, rice, heaps of sauces, tea, ground coffee and a coffee maker), plus lemons and herbs from the garden (and perhaps a tomato or two if you are lucky). Large, secure backyard. Flexible check in and check out times most of the time. Everywhere Only a 15 min walk to a stunning beach (with a great kids’ playground) or just a minute in the car (if you don’t fancy a walk). There is also a local dog beach. A 10 minute walk gets you to our local coffee shop – Yield – fantastic Turkish bread rolls, homemade pies and Friday night curries! In addition there is a liquor store, Golden Bay Fish and Chips, hairdresser, chiropractor and medical centre. Only 2 km to Secret Harbour: a new shopping complex (includes Coles; Woolworths; Aldi; Dan Murphy & Liquorland), an award winning pub – The Whistling Kite - a golf course and a surf beach. Lots of options for eating out! There is a bus service to Secret Harbour if you are heading to the pub. Singleton’s popular Bayshore Garden Restaurant is just down the road in the other direction. If you enjoy the odd wine (or two) there are several wineries just a short drive away. Busy Mandurah is a 10 minute drive away. And of course you are only an hour or two from Bunbury, Busselton for day trips. Public transport to Perth, and the local regional centres starts at a bus stop a couple of minutes walk away. The Warnbro train station is just over a 10 minute drive if you need to go to Perth for the day.
