A relaxing and elegant apartment near the beach

Located in a prime area, next to the beach, this one bedroom apartment with a large living room has been totally renovated to provide a pleasant stay in a very quiet place with wide views. The train station and the beach are a 10-minute walk away, passing a beautiful square, which allows easy access to Estoril, Cascais and Lisbon. Next to the apartment there are several restaurants and shops of all kinds. We took great care in choosing the dishes, bed linen and bath towels, furniture and utensils. For wine connoisseurs, there is a wine cellar that will keep your choices at the right temperature. For those who like to cook, the oven, the induction plate and the cast iron cookware will allow the Portuguese delicacies to reveal all their flavor. HOW TO GET TO THE APARTMENT From the airport By taxi There is a queue of taxis at the airport in the arrivals area. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes and the cost is around 50 euros, during a normal transit time. Caution: During high season the taxi queue can be long and time consuming. In the late afternoon, the route is slower, it can take around 1 hour, and the price also increases. By Uber There are Uber vehicles available. They pick up passengers at the boarding area. Travel time is the same as taxi time. The price in a normal transit time is 40 euros for Uber X and 65 euros for Uber Black. At peak times, both the duration of the journey and the prices increase. Scheduled Taxi It is possible to schedule a taxi, combined with Mr. Sandro Ramos to wait you at the landing still inside the airport. Sandro Ramos is our acquaintance. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes (with normal transit) and costs 65 euros for up to 4 people. By metro and train At the airport you must buy the tickets for the metro and the train, at the Lisbon Airport metro station. The metro runs from 06h30 to 01h00. It is best to buy a “Viva Viagem” card, which costs 0.50 euros and carries on both the subway and train tickets. The subway ticket to Cais do Sodré costs 0.50 euros and the train from Cais do Sodré to Monte Estoril (4 zones) costs 2.25 euros, which means that the total cost of the trip is 3.25 euros per passenger, including the cost of the “Viva Viagem” card. Take the red line to Alameda station, where you should change to the green line, direction Cais do Sodré. Arriving at Cais do Sodré, take the train to Monte Estoril. The complete course lasts around 1h40. Between 07h00 and 09h48 and between 17h00 and 20h24, trains are faster because they make fewer stops, which saves about 10 minutes. Caution: Upon arrival at Monte Estoril Station you are already very close to the apartment, but if you are carrying suitcases, consider that there are stairs on the way going up from the station to the apartment. In front of the station or at the Intercontinental Hotel it is possible to take a taxi or Uber. Without luggage, or with a backpack, the walking time from the train station to the apartment is about 10 minutes, climbing about 40m of total ascent.
