Nested on the top of a hill, this charming house is located in the Frantoio of Montemarcello, where the olive oil was made! Facing the Alpi Apuane and the Gulf of Poets, it's the perfect place for an excursions to the 5 Terre and to the beautiful cities of Lucca and Pisa. It is a great place also for trekking and enjoying seaside! Large, bright and welcoming, with a beautiful view on the Apuan Alps and a small terrace at the entrance, this charming apartment is set on the upper side of antique mill of Montemarcello . Located at the entrance of Montemarcello , facing the antique door to access the village and at the corner with Via delle Mura, the house is located less than 100 meters from a parking lot. The entry of the house is preceded by a one floor staircase with a handrail. The comunity of Montemarcello is welcoming. Depending on the period of the year myself or one of the members of my family will be nearby in case you need help! Montemarcello is one of the most beautiful villages of Italy. Located in a regional park on the headland that divides Liguria from Tuscany, it offers the possibility to take beautiful walks in the woods and to reach the sea without having to take the car, but with a steep walk down the hill (700 stairs!) The parking for the cars is close by (about 80 meters) as well as the bus stop that goes to Lerici , Ameglia and Sarzana. If you need to unload the car you can get a few steps from the entrance staircase of the house. The area is full of places to see and things to do in all seasons such as: discovering the 5 Terre, visiting the Carrara marble quarries, having a promenade in Portovenere, trekking to the village of Tellaro, descending to the beach of Punta Corvo, explore the historic center of Sarzana...and much more!
