260 acre Scenic Rim eco farm stay all to yourself

Located in the Lost World part of the famous Scenic Rim just over an hour from Brisbane, our 260 acre farm offers the genuine hideaway experience. Easy access to many Scenic Rim attractions. You get the entire 260 acre farm to yourself. The nearest neighbour is a couple of kilometres away. Just you, the sound of the native birds and our cattle. We love dogs so are trying to keep our place pet friendly. But PLEASE, no dogs on furniture OR the beds. SUV or 4WD access in very wet weather. Our cosy cabin provides 4 bunk beds, a kitchenette with fridge, microwave and all the usual essential, with a BBQ on the deck. It is airconditioned reverse cycle for winter warming and summer cooling. We have a TV and DVD and plenty of movies but there is no TV signal. You will need to provide us your email address. This is for us to send you directions to the farm, and how to turn on the utilities. Plus a liability waiver which you will need to agree to given it is a working farm. Access after heavy wet weather can be a problem for 2WDs, which are otherwise fine in mostly dry conditions. Access is not suitable for sportcars or vehicles with lowered ground clearance. Once here you will be left alone. You can reach us via mobile but coverage is limited and best on Telstra unless you drive toward Beaudesert - just 15 mins away Rolling green hills, flowing creeks, beautiful scenery and countless walking trails. But most of all it's the serenity that makes The Farm at Duck Creek so special. We welcome pets but please keep your furry friend off the furniture and the bedding.
