After attending an exciting sports event, going on a bike tour or enjoying one of the many cultural highlights of the area, come home and relax in my peaceful home and quiet garden oasis. If you wish, I'll have a bottle of "Kaiserstuehler" wine from my hometown's region ready for you to enjoy as well. Lodging The house is within easy walking distance to the "Schalke Arena" and Tram lines 301 & 302. It is less than a 5 minute drive from the A2 motorway exit to my home. You can leave my home by bike to reach a network of clearly sign-posted bicycle paths nearby.(** if these are also used for walking - "You can leave my home by bike or on foot to reach a network of clearly sign-posted pathways nearby.") Only guests staying with me are allowed in my home. Smoking is allowed outside. Because I get up early, it is my policy to ask you not to have loud conversations or music after 11pm. You are welcome to use the fully appointed kitchen to prepare a tasty meal or snack. Please ask me first if you would like to use the washing machine, TV or WLan. Because I've lived here for decades, I can answer a wide variety of questions about the area and enjoy giving you insider tips on favorite places to go and special things to see & do. There are concerts, theaters, art galleries and sports events, as well as smaller local festivals and events happening all the time!
