During Hurricane Michael, Pappy’s Paradise was blessed to have received minimal damage. Since Michael’s aftermath, we have made the needed repairs to open up our home once again this summer to those who love the Mexico Beach/Port Saint Joe area. Michael was the third most powerful storm in U.S. history and has left devastating destruction in its path. It caused the loss of many iconic sites and businesses in Mexico Beach and the surrounding areas, but the people of this area have not allowed this to deter their spirit and work tirelessly to rebuild this beautiful coast. Several of the restaurants in Mexico Beach have reopened after exhausting clean up or the use of a temporary structure and the businesses and restaurants of Port Saint Joe are almost all back up and running in their original locations. The beaches of St. Joe Beach (between Port St. Joe and Mexico Beach), where Pappy’s Paradise is located are open and beautiful. Three bedrooms have king-sized bed, while the one remaining room is furnished with a queen-sized bed, as well as a kid-friendly bunk room with a twin/full size bunk bed. All four bedrooms have a private bath attached. The entire home is comfortable for sleeping 11 people. The beautiful cypress walled open concept living room is furnished to comfortably seat guests while they relax. The kitchen is perfect for dining in as it is fully-equipped with cookware/dishes. A large family picnic table downstairs is perfect for those middle of the day snacks to refuel and return to playing in the white sand. Situated close to the beach, guests can enjoy an afternoon of games, swimming, relaxing in the warm sunshine and later watch the sunset from the front porch. Private Outdoor Shower (Hot/Cold water) perfect for rinsing tiny sandy toes. Approximately 75 yards to the beach access and an easy walk!
