Wester Durie Farmhouse is a beautiful home set in a rural location with stunning countryside views. The accommodation is set over two levels and boasts stunning front and back gardens. Each room is tastefully decorated to give a homely welcoming feel. Ample parking makes this property perfect for family get togethers and golfers alike. The accommodation layouts are as follows: Ground Floor – spacious open plan kitchen with diner and lounge with log burner. A separate utility room and pantry area are situated next to the kitchen. Also on the ground floor are a dining room, living room, which can accommodate a luxury airbed, and small bathroom. Library area beside a a double bedroom with ensuite shower room, perfect for any guests with mobility requirements. First Floor - 1 super kingsize bed with sitting area to relax and enjoy the spectacular countryside views. 1 kingsize bed with ensuite shower room. Family bathroom. Technology - There are two sky q boxes in the living room for guests to enjoy. One in the open plan kitchen/living area and one in the library. Garden – the garden is sheltered and catches the sun most of the day. Back garden is suitable for pets, and has a wonderful array of fruit trees and vegetables which guests are free to make the most of once ready to be harvested. The front garden had views over fields of wildflowers. There is a large BBQ which guests are welcome to use. Driveway - there is a large driveway at the side of the property with ample room for several cars. Storage - the house has plenty storage space for golf clubs etc but no spikes to be worn in the house. Guests will have full access to the entire property. No rooms will be off limits and all contents within the flat are there for our guests use including wifi, the TV and the cooking implements. There are some storage areas which are off limits due to these being used for personal belongings but these are locked. I am happy to communicate with all guests as much as necessary, but will otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay. When the booking is confirmed you will receive instructions via a web link with all the necessary information to check yourself in at your leisure after 4pm (unless by prior arrangement). Check in is via a secure key box for which you will be provided the code. A quiet farmhouse situated a short drive from a picturesque Beach and many wonderful golf courses, including the Leven Links, an Open Championship Qualifying course, there are also several other courses in the surrounding area notably Lundin Links, Elie and Crail. Leven is a hidden treasure of the East Neuk, Highlights include the Fife Coastal Path, the lovely parks at Letham Glen and Silverburn, all perfect for family days out and leisurely walks. Leven makes the perfect base situated for exploring the many fishing villages and tourist spots along the East Neuk and of course St Andrews. Plus it is located less than an hour away from Edinburgh, so also makes a great base for enjoying all that Scotland's capital has to offer whilst being able to relax in a quieter setting. The is a good bus service from Leven to St Andrews. the bus service also runs from Leven to Edinburgh and takes around 1 hour 30 minutes . A car is not essential but if you'd like to go to other villages and interesting sites just outside Leven a car is recommended. Smoking is not permitted within the property. No parties at all are allowed and we ask you are respectful of the neighbours throughout your stay.
