Idyllic location on the waterfront looking over to Mapua Leisure Park. Large lawn from house down to the water. The house has large ranch slider windows which give a great view of the water. Access to the beach and a five minute walk to Mapua restuarants and shops. Property consists of a two bedroom house - for a 4 person booking (queen bed and two single beds), a stand alone bedroom/lounge - for 5+ person booking (queen bed and sofa bed) and a garage. Comfortably sleeps 6 in beds and there is a pull out sofa in the stand alone bedroom which sleeps one adult or 2 children. When you book for up to 4 people it is only for the house. For 5 people or more, the stand alone bedroom/lounge is also available. Recently renovated house and stand alone bedroom/lounge. New carpet, curtains, vinyl and freshly painted inside and out. New kitchen, washing machine, beds and furniture. We have two kayaks and two mountain bikes for guests to use which are located in the garage. You can bike to Mapua wharf, catch the Mapua Ferry over to Rabbit Island and then bike all the way to Nelson if you wanted to on bike trails. Within a 5-10 minute walk there are a few coffee shops/restuarants and gift shops. Within a 15 minute walk there is Rare Creations which is an Interactive Wooden Art Gallery offering Contemporary Furniture and Arts. Within that 15 minute walk, there is a patchwork and fabric store and a General Store. A Four Square is 5 minutes walk away.
