- A 2 minute drive to/from Ferry; Picton Marina close by; short walk to Picton Central & waterfront activities - My home is private, quiet, has sea & bush views - ‘Bush Views’ bedroom & ensuite is a serene space with expansive bush & hill views - with Wifi, a smart TV with Netflix & Prime, coffee, teas, fruit & filtered water - Breakfast (muffin, scone, fruit & expresso coffee) $15 pp - Mountain bikes & sea kayaks for hire - Private off street parking - Vaccination passes required Wake up in a raised bed to view the beautiful bush surroundings in a serene and comfortable en-suite bedroom. Relax with a drink on our front deck with sea and Picton waterfront views. Drinks - plunger coffee, a variety of teas, filtered water and fruit are freely available. Breakfast (freshly home baked muffin, scone, variety of fruits and your choice of expresso coffee)is available on request and when you would like it - $15 per person. Smart TV with Netflix and Prime is available on request. Scott mountain bikes with helmets are available on request, for a discounted price, to explore the tracks and visit the local sights. Sea Kayaks with life jackets are similarly available on request, to explore the beautiful waterfront and coves nearby. If ‘Bush Views’ bedroom is booked, please check to see if ‘Little Italy’ Paradise - bikes & kayaks’ bedroom is available; the other AirBnB bedroom in my home. Take a short walk to all Picton central amenities or hike/bike to Waikawa Bay, or on one of the many tracks nearby . Wander down our gardens to the private enclosed bush area with large trampoline; and over the stone bridged stream to the swinging seat beyond. Enjoy the peace... We have a large book shelf with a variety of books. Please just ask to browse and borrow any you like. Check in time is 2pm onwards and check out is by 10am. Please note, that as there may be other guests staying, and with the wish to keep my home as safe as possible for all guests, I will be requiring proof of vaccination passes. Our smaller living area and kitchen are our own space so please respect this as we would your own privacy. Though I am here to help with any questions you may have and to make this trip and visit of yours the best for you. As host and owner with my partner Steve, we greatly enjoy living in the 1920’s old Italian ‘Perano’ family home and enjoy sharing it with our guests. Our home is serene and peaceful, set in a lovely relaxing location with sea and bush views. You are welcome to as much privacy as you would like. Steve and I are here in the evenings and we look forward to providing any further information on this beautiful part of New Zealand that may interest you. I am available anytime by email, txt or phone call if needed. Local cafes, restaurants, lively little pubs, a variety of gift shops, book and art shops, boat cruising, kayaking, biking, swimming with dolphins, hiking the hills of Queen Charlotte Sounds- it is all here on our doorstep. And the super friendly Picton people who make this such a great gem of a place to explore. Close by is Blenheim town with its surrounding, glorious vineyards; boutique and large estates to sample wines and local foods.. Information on walks, places to visit and explore and what to see are all available at our home. And two Scott mountain bikes with helmets are available for hire to make exploring the neighbourhood great fun - - bike tracks through the Victorian Domain - to the reservoir and across the ridge to view the Marlborough Sounds - along the ridge and down into Waikawa Bay for a food and drink stop at the Jolly Rodger at Waikawa Marina - around the bays overlooking the water... We have brochures and booklets in our main hallway on what to do and see in Picton to help you make the most of your stay.
