Broadsands Retreat, a seaside haven

Our 4 bedroom dormer-bungalow is just a short walk away from Broadsands Beach and the South-west coast path. The neighbourhood is residential and very quiet. From our back windows and our front step you can see the Dartmouth Steam train tootle past at regular intervals. There is a footpath close by that will take you to bus stops and local shops. The property comfortably sleeps and seats 8, there is a 9th bed in the living room but you will need to provide your own bedding. You are welcome to use the whole house and garden. We are currently cruising on a narrowboat in the UK but can be contacted if you need us either by phone or via airbnb app. There is a guest book in the hall with all the house and area information you should need. The cleaning and changeovers are managed for us by a local company and the gardener also comes once a week. The beach is stunning and downhill all the way! There is a bistro, kiosk, kayak hire and toilets but these amenities don't spoil Broadsands. If you take the footpath uphill to the shops you will find a chemist, a fish & chip shop, a mini-supermarket and a rather unique charity run coffee shop. The nearest bus stop is on Dartmouth Road and your quickest access to it is via the footpath that runs from the far corner of our road diagonally opposite us. The nearest train station is Paignton for the main rail and Churston for the steam railway. If you are bringing a baby you will find a travel cot in the wardrobe in the back bedroom downstairs. There is also a high chair in the utility room. The stair gate is there for your safety. If you have a dog then you will find two wipe clean dog beds, a toy and a spare lead in the cupboard under the stairs.
