Our elegant and private retreat is easily accessible to both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Modern luxury in the tranquil hinterland only 20 mins to the beach, 10 mins to theme parks, 40 mins to Brisbane. Private pool and heated spa. Our air conditioned treetop bungalow set on 8 acres of natural bushland is the perfect space for couples wanting a weekend getaway. Private swimming pool, huge deck with barbecue and sun lounges. Perfect for business travelers wanting a quite space. Wifi provided, it's a perfect place to work, think and create. A separate,downstairs, bunkhouse is available for older children on request. The bunkhouse has a bunk bed with double bed below and a small single top bed. It has external access to the main bungalow and is suitable for older children only. Guests have exclusive use of the swimming pool, heated spa and BBQ. Parking is available and a driveway entrance separate to the main house is also available, with stairway access. Colin will greet you on arrival and he will be available to assist with recommendations for restaurants and other local attractions. Our bungalow is part of the last large acreage in the hinterland between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Sunrise and sunset walks through the countryside and its cows, sheep, pigs, alpacas and vast array of wild birds and animals is one of the delights of our hidden valley home. We are about 10 mins by car from 2 separate railway stations on the Gold Coast and Brisbane Airport train line. We can make restaurant recommendations for you in the local area, up at Mt Tambourine and down on the Gold Coast. Just let us know what you are looking for and we can help! The owner chef has a Michelin history and the food is amazing. Overlooks the Marina. (URL HIDDEN) Black Sheep Bistro - Oxenford. Another chef owner restaurant with great pedigree. The wine list is very limited though so we suggest you BYO wine if you are into the fruits of the grape! Colin is an excellent cook and breakfast can be provided at an extra charge and with notice the day before. We have our own free range hens and produce from our veggie garden at most times of the year. Dinner can also be arranged on request. A days sailing on our 40 ft sloop can also be arranged separately on request. Colin is a sailing instructor and lessons aboard our beautiful yacht on Moreton Bay are one of the extras available during your stay.
