It's 7 km from the city center (by car or bus) and in the XX century was one of the most exclusive places of lake Como. Many important milanese families had their villas built in Civenna, specifically on the hill and not by the lake because the climate is less hot and more windy (Bellagio is 200 meters above sea level, while Bellagio hill is 650 meters high) and also because there is more space for gardens and an incredible view of the lake.
