Train ticket is $12.00 at peak hours, bus/subway is $2.75 (may be less) with one free transfer. The bus N24 has a stop a block away on Jericho Tpke. The LIRR Merillon Ave Station is 10-minute walk away. Restaurants a block away, many more within walking distance.
