Kadjan Villa - Suite Mar

Travelers lodge, two minutes walk from the coast, located between two major surf points. Great escape with privacy, excellent for travelers who like peace and nature. On the property there is a villa with two separate large air conditioned suites, each with en suite bathroom; two newly built separate cabanas with en suite bathrooms; a dining cabana with meal options, chill-out cabins, outdoor showers, hammocks and swings all in sandy beach grounds. Suite Mar, is spacious, plain, and simple. The suite has a king size bed with an orthopedic spring mattress and a mosquito net. There is a ceiling fan and air condition wall unit. In addition there is a desk, and a wardrobe. The en suite bathroom is large with a lot of natural light, and an indoor garden. The front porch is in sand, has hammocks, and lounge chairs for relaxing. At the property there is a dining cabana available for all guests staying with us. We have menu based options, like meals or snacks available during high season. The kitchen is normally for host’s usage, but guests are allowed to store their foodstuff, and prepare some coffee or snacks. traffic. The construction, interiors, furniture, and maintenance of kadjan villa are done by deaf and mute community of Pottuvil, as part of our social ongoing contribution to the most needed in the region. Around us is manly beach vibe but there is a roti local joint by the fishing area heading south direction, at night its closed. The best option is to head north direction to Arugambay main road where you will find plenty of options. It will take you a 10 mins walk. Parking tuk tuk or bikes can be inside the property gate but, larger vehicles will have to park outside were you will have plenty parking area. Shali will be your local host A very quiet, family driven ,and safe neighborhood. Pasarichenai beach is 2 mins walk from us. The beach has an extension of 5 kms from the main point (north) to Elephant rock (south). At the beach its very interesting observing the fishermen bring ashore the large nets full of fish. If you help they will reward you with fish. Walk south to elephant rock for sightseeing wild life and surfing. good spot for surf beginners. On the way, there is a lagoon where you can spot elephants during sunset. Main point is considered the best surf break in all Eastern Province, and we aew 20 mins walk by the beach. Its a reef break good intermediate, and experience surfers where you can get consistent long rides. The best way to commute in the region is either by scooter or tuk tuk. A scooter in good condition, helmet and insurance will cost you 1200 rupees aprox. Bicycle is also a good option and you can find rental with us for 500 rupees a day or in Arugambay at same rate. There is bus is a station by the Panama road near the village. Ask more information on prices and schedule to Shali. We can call tuk tuk or taxi service from the property. The price to go Pottuvil is 500 ruppes return night or day. (both ways). Parking for 2 or 3 wheels vehicles can be inside the gate but cars and vans will have to park outside where there is plenty parking available. We also have a registered taxi service that can take you any part of the island. (check out the rates with Shali). Breakfast is not included in the rate but we have menu options available for purchase. There is a taxi service that can take you anywhere in the island. The prices are additional to the stay. Invitees from our guests need to register with us first-hand, and cannot spend the night if they have not checked-in.
