Kingfisher Cabin is a private, tiny house in a peaceful, rural area, with stunning views over the Mahakipawa Arm of Pelorus Sound. It is perfect for tourists wanting to access Queen Charlotte Sound, mountain bikers, bird watchers, or people wanting a weekend away from it all. Check out our (Hidden by Airbnb) account for more images (Website hidden by Airbnb) The Cabin has everything you need, whether you are staying for a couple of nights or a month. Small, cosy and warm, the house opens onto a covered deck, providing plenty of room to enjoy the view. Being a tiny house, there is no wardrobe or drawer space so be prepared to live out of your suitcase while you stay. We live at the end of the shared driveway and are available when needed. The Cabin is accessed by a shared driveway, with 4 other houses on it, but all at least 50m away. The Linkwater/Mahakipawa area is a mixture of dairy farms, baches, lifestyle blocks, retirees and the people who keep the community going. The closest public transport options are Havelock or Picton. There is no television but Wifi is available.
