There are plenty of activities for to do around within a short drive, such as Topgolf, Main event, Star Cinema Grill, Dave and Busters, and more! Kemah Boardwalk is a fun and diverse entertainment complex, with everything from amusement park rides to picturesque waterfront dining. It also features speed boat rides, rain forest exhibit, playground, and much more! Nearby, the Kemah Lighthouse District has a wide variety of shops and restaurants. July to Oct is a popular time to visit with lots of music festivals and activities going on. The Kemah Crawfish Festival (Mar/Apr) features seafood and music under the Kemah Bridge. This property is about 25 minutes south of Houston and 25 minutes north of Galveston, making it a perfect midpoint between these two popular destinations! NASA Space Center is just about 7 miles away. It is the area's No. 1 attraction for international visitors! This amazing experience has something for all ages. For all my shoppers there is the Baybrook Mall and the Tanger Outlet. Each of these locations are only about 12 miles away! Galveston Island is about 25 minutes from the apartment. Its many features include Moody Gardens, where giant glass pyramids house sharks, monkeys and other animals. Pleasure Pier with rides and restaurants, Schlitterbahn water park, and much more! West is bird-rich Galveston Island State Park, with its trails, kayak launches and fishing spots. Stewart Beach and East Beach are on the island’s eastern end. I generally ask for 1 car per reservation, but if you need to bring another car I have no problem with that, you can park it under the house or there is street parking and parking spots at the park across the street.
