The Barn is perfect for groups or family's celebrating special occasions or just looking for a base to enjoy Cornwall. Portreath Beach 15 mins walk, 5 mins Drive. Luxury Linen and Towels Provided (only need to bring beach towels). The accommodation is arranged over two floors with ample space for all guest to have own space if needed ! Ground Floor: Entrance hall leading to: Dining room table and chairs comfortably seats 6 guests Lounge with leather sofas and 50" Sky/TV DVD player Second Lounge/Dining room with 6 seater dining table and chairs , Drum set for the budding musicians, TV. Leading to : Laundry Room (Washing Machine & Tumble Dryer) adjacent to family bathroom with bath, overhead shower and WC. I deal for washing wet suits and beach gear. Conservatory with additional seating and pool table with double french doors leading onto deck area to main gardens. Fully equipped kitchen with gas range cooker, dishwasher, coffee machine, breakfast bar, plenty of fridge and freezer space, Ice machine. French doors in kitchen leading to patio and expansive lawned garden (approx 2 acres) with tyre swing - fun for adults to ! Ideal space for entertaining and enjoying a BBQ , lots of seating. Children with love the outside space plenty of room for them to explore and enjoy. Spiral Staircase leading to galleried landing: First Floor Master Bedroom with high beamed ceilings, king size bed, TV and walk in wardrobe. You can open the french doors on a sunny morning and enjoy a coffee on the balcony over looking the garden. Luxury large en-suite bathroom with roll top free standing bath, walk in double shower, his and her sink units and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2 /3 Double bed with views over the grounds of the front property. Plenty of wardrobe space Bedroom 4 Double bed with additional single bed, built in wardrobe, great for family room with Juliet balcony looking onto front courtyard. Separate shower Room Family bathroom with bath, sink and WC Plenty of private on site parking and use of extensive grounds. If you are keen on outdoor activities then you can bring your bikes and cycle or walk through the woods from the barn and then spend a day surfing on Portreath beach. The Barnyard is also ideally located to link with all the nearby cycle paths in the area. Bikes can be hired from Portreath Hub which is a 5 min drive or 15 minute walk through the woods. The Barn is in an ideal location to explore what Cornwall has to offer and I would be happy to help you with recommendation for places to visit and eat during your stay. Some of my favourites are Gwithian beach where you can swim with the seals. Porthtowan where you can enjoy a drink at the blue bar and watch the sun go down and lots of good food to eat wherever you go .... you will just love Cornwall !! Car is recommended if you want to explore Cornwall. Walk to nearest beach (Portreath) is through the woods about 15 mins. Car 5 mins. Newquay airport is 45 mins away. The Barnyard is close to the coastal road and is a breathtaking scenic drive leading you to different villages and beaches without having to travel on the main road.
