Stunning Sandbanks Family Home minutes from beach

Stunning architect owned and designed house in the middle of Sandbanks peninsula, minutes walk from award winning beaches. This is a beautiful family home with huge open plan kitchen/living room and with cosy wood burning stove. Set over 3 floors there is plenty of space to relax. 5 generous bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Childrens' playroom at front. Garden with large patio and south facing garden at the rear as well as off street car parking for 3 cars. On doorstep of Purbecks for walks The house itself is designed and built by us only 3 years ago in art deco inspired style. It's three stories tall with a unmissable pink door. The ground floor is mainly open plan (other than a meditation room and playroom for the kids) so it is a huge space to dine, cook and relax in. There are three enormous sliding patio doors which can been opened up fully onto the South facing garden and terrace with seating. The garden itself is perfect for kids with plenty of toys, miniature houses and a very large low to the ground trampoline which will keep the kids entertained for hours! The kitchen is fully equipped with Miele double oven and American style large fridge freezer including water filter. Plenty of built in cupboard space and everything you need to cook up a storm. The hob is induction and on an island so you can chat as food is prepared. There is a lovely teak 12 seater dining table and two enormous comfortable sofas (one is a sofa bed if needed) and large television for the evenings. There is also a lovey wood burner with plenty of wood for fires in the autumn/winter. Also on the ground floor is a mediation room with plenty of books for you to peruse and a childrens playroom to keep the kids entertained with a lovely window seat for spying on passers by. The driveway has space for 3 cars and bikes can be stored down the side passage. There is also a WC on the ground floor and washing machine/dryer. On the first floor you will find a very spacious master bedroom with gigantic emperor bed (room enough for 2 adults and 2 children if required!) which has it's own balcony and ensuite bathroom. Master ensuite comes with lovely deep egg bath and separate overhead and handheld power shower if you prefer. Also on the first floor there are two other double bedrooms of decent size. The first has an extremely comfortable king sized feather and black mattress and the second has two single beds pushed together (can be separated) and this room would have space for a cot bed (available) if small person in tow. These two rooms share the family bathroom which has a bath and handheld shower, heated towel rack and lovely basin and light up mirror. On the top floor of the house you will find a further two rooms. One is set up as a double guest bedroom with balcony, conran dressing table and writing table. The second is currently an office but the dinosaur childrens bed or cot bed can be put in here if required - please ask. This also has large sliding doors onto a south facing balcony for full summer sun and relaxation among the treetops. These two top rooms share a bathroom which has been recently finished with overhead stylish gold shower and lovely basin. All rooms are very spacious and the house itself is set in an exceptionally quiet and sheltered spot in the centre of Sandbanks. Being only 5 minute walk down the sandy lane to the beach this house is perfect for a winter beach holiday and the chain ferry to the Purbecks and Studland beach is a 5 minute walk away too. There are some wonderful walks and places to explore in the Purbecks including Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Chapmans pool which are all less than 30 minutes drive away across the Ferry. From the house you can also cross the ferry on foot to Studland Village and the Pig on the beach. The whole house will be accessible but if you don't need the office room at the top of the house please let us know. We will be staying around the corner so anything you need we will be able to help in person. Middle beach, Sandbanks beach and harbour beaches are all within 5 minutes walk of the house for you to have maximum enjoyment of the world class beaches without having to get in the car. The chain ferry over to the stunning Studland bay is also a 5 minute walk so you can explore the Purbecks as part of your stay and even treat yourself to an afternoon tea at the Pig at the Beach in Studland or walk along the breathtaking coast path to Old Harry Rocks. Corfe Castle, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are all within 30 minute drive over the ferry from the house and beautiful to explore. Back on Sandbanks you have Rick Steins within 5 minute walk as a great place to go for dinner or brunch or even a drink at the bar. The choice of harbour beaches as well as sandbanks beaches means whichever way the wind is blowing you will be able to find the perfect spot to enjoy this idyllic location. And if you're into watersports you can hire boats, canoes, paddleboards etc from Fluid on Sandbanks (5 minute walk) and even paddle over to the deserted sandy beaches on Brownsea Island. There's no need to drive anywhere while you're here. You have everything on your doorstep and even Tesco express for a foodshop is a 20 minute walk around the harbour. For beautiful walks you are perfectly placed to start and sample the south coast walk which begins at Studland beach (just over the chain ferry a 5 minute walk away).
