Geomelia Guest House is a flat apartment, completely made of stone, of a new cottage, which is located in Polygyros Halkidiki, 600m from the center of the city. It is placed in a critical spot, as it comes between north and coastal Halkidiki, making it possible for the visitors to plan daily getaways, in order to experience not only the majestic nature but crystal-clear aquamarine waters of Halkidiki as well. The apartment Geomelia Guest House, along with its bucolic characteristics, is a traditionally structured cottage. In accord with the structure of the house, is the traditional decoration, which is handmade by the owners. The 80 sqm accommodation meets the quality requirements of a villa that combine harmoniously the incomparable beauty of the landscape with its geographical location. It is placed on the top of a hillside that is surrounded by two rills flowed by natural water and lushness, assuring a mild coolness during summer. The two spacious bedrooms are able to host up to two couples or a large family. Additionally, a fully equipped kitchen and a commodious living room, comfy enough to host an extra visitor, are provided. There are two ways that the house is heated, a fireplace and an underground heating system, that also controls the temperature during the summer season. The independent stonemade backyard is ideal for moments of relaxation and peacefulness, along with the nightingale songs and the sounds of flowing waters. Polygyros is the capital of Halkidiki, with the capacity of 8.000 residents. The climate offers the perfect chance of enjoying a good night sleep and many restful moments. The nearest beach is at a 15’ distance away by car and visitors can discover the most popular ones in less than 30’-50’ driving. The rough mountain range of Cholomon, that surrounds Polygyros, challenges the nature-loving adventurers for walking excursions and mountain expeditions. The closest airport lies in Thessaloniki, in a 45 km distance. Visitors’ access Guests are allowed to use the whole garden, which is 3 acres wide, the BBQ and the wood stove. Interaction with the guests The cottage is attached to the owners’ residence, who will try their best to ensure a pleasant and unforgettable stay. Other information Regarding to janitorial maintenance, biological cleaners are used, in order to avoid any kind of allergies. The apartment is also equipped with a washing machine exclusively for the visitors’ needs. Visitors should keep in mind that they will drive a 100 m distance of a country (earthen) road, in order to arrive to the cottage. Guests are also enabled to use the WiFi connection and the parking space, inside the residence, for free. The General Hospital of Halkidiki is located no further than 4’ by car.
