Bed & Breakfast in farmhouse in Herefordshire

We look forward to welcoming you to our farmhouse set in pretty North Herefordshire countryside equidistant between the Hereford and Ludlow and on the famous Black and White village trail. There is plenty of space to unpack and relax. The cast iron bath in the ensuite is perfect for a relaxing soak. We also provide a comfortable sofa and a desk and chair for those of you who would like to catch up on work and emails. Continental breakfast is available. We are approximately 10 miles from the Cathedral City of Hereford and the Mappa Mundi & Chained Library in Hereford Cathedral, one of the oldest maps in the country. We are also only 10 miles from the historic town Ludlow, its medieval Castle, wonderful restaurants and shopping. Our property is on the Black and White Trail which is characterized by the number of timbered and half-timbered houses in the area. We offer lovely walking on the farm and there is a tennis court for those who enjoy the sport. A kettle and tea/coffee and herbals tea are provided. We are happy to help with suggestions on where to visit and to eat in the locality and provide this information in the bedroom. Guests are welcome to walk on the farm on the dedicated footpaths. The tennis court is also available for guest use. Please bring a tennis racquet if you have one. We can provide tennis balls. We are around if you need advice. From our property you can enjoy a short walk into the village where there is a working cheese dairy producing and selling local artisan cheeses. In their Cafe you can enjoy excellent coffee, proper leaf tea, homemade cakes and light lunches. There is also a pub in the village serving lunch and evening meals. Trips out along the 40 mile circular Black and White trail leads through a rich landscape of orchards, hopyards and distant hills, taking in the most picturesque black and white villages in Herefordshire. Local railway station (Leominster 3 miles) and plenty of taxis. The property is set in a courtyard on a working farm. Plenty of parking The bedding is changed if staying a minimum of 5 nights.
