We are cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces before you check in. We are aiming to allow 24hours between each guest visit as an extra safety feature. Welcome you to our large ground floor double bedroom, with a separate stylish private bathroom including a bath and a shower. The bedroom has high sash windows, a double bed, table and chairs, wardrobes , TV & free WiFi, fridge, and hairdryer. A continental buffet style breakfast is provided. Parking on the premises is free. Our place is great for any visit to Plymouth - whether it's a holiday, for business, for an event or a family get-together. We're very central for all the attractions: The Hoe, The Barbican, the University and the city centre. We're within a few minutes stroll of the Hoe and waterfront, the Barbican, The Guildhall, The Theatre Royal and The Pavilions theatres, shopping centres and music venues. It is an easy walk to the Coach station and about 5-10 minutes in a taxi to the Railway station. If you're attending a conference or event at the Crowne Plaza, we are 5 mins walk away. We're only a few minutes away from the Brittany Ferry terminal - a convenient place to stay before or after a ferry crossing. Guests can access the parking and entrance area, their room and bathroom and a shared passageway to use the microwave and sink. We're always happy to be of help to our guests - whether it's information about the locality that's needed, a forgotten toothbrush or a lost passport, we've usually managed to be of assistance! Our space is the ground floor apartment in a 4 storey detached Georgian building from the 1830s. It is in a wide street with a mix of residences, hotels, and businesses. At the top of the street - about 300m - is the Hoe. The other end of the street heads towards the City Centre, about 5-10 mins walk. It's an ideal place from which to explore all the City has to offer, either on foot, car, or by local ferries. There are numerous places to eat and drink within walking distance, and local independent shops in which to browse. The heritage 1930s Lido is at the top or the street, as is iconic Smeaton's Tower. So much to do and see ! As this is such a central location, we recommend walking to most local attractions and venues. There is on street parking (metered) and we can provide off street parking (£5 per night). There is a bus stop opposite the property which regularly travels into the city centre. There are also a number of water taxis and ferries available locally at small expense to provide an attractive way of seeing and visiting other areas of Plymouth and the locality, including among others, seasonal trips up the Tamar river and to the pretty fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand. There is a regular bus service to the surrounding area available on line and from Tourist Information services. Plymouth is a main line station which provides access to Exeter and other destinations eastwards, and westwards to Cornwall and several branch lines. We’re happy to provide a secure space for bicycles overnight - useful if you’re on a cycling holiday, or interested in hiring bikes for exploring Plymouth and it’s surrounding area. We’re also happy to store baggage in advance, for those walking the SW Coast path. There are a number of places to eat and relax near us, from take-away, to pub grub to more up market bistro style meals. A wide variety of cuisines are in easy walking distance, for example Turkish, Japanese, Thai, Greek and French - and of course British modern and traditional. Take your pick!
