Double room private bathroom near Coventry Arena
Pet friendly, kid friendly, free on street parking, private bathroom, double bed, smart tv, free wi-fi, decked garden area and early check in or bag drop often available. Guests will have access to the ground and first floors with their own family bathroom. Matt and I also live in the property and have our bedroom on the top floor. We have a dog and 2 cats, all very well behaved. No back to back bookings for covid safety, hand sanitizer's available throughout the property. The kitchen, living room and downstairs toilet are all communal and shared but guests are more than welcome to use the toilet and the kitchen but to ensure we are not using the space (for your safety) guests can just let us know when they want to use the kitchen and we will ensure it is free for you to use. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with its own private bathroom (not en-suite) for guests. The top floor of the house is out of bounds as this is our living space. There is some hanging space behind the mirror and drawer space available in the room, the wardrobe is not for guest use. Guests will have access to the shared kitchen (let us know if you wish to cook so we can ensure it’s free for your safety). You will have a private double room and a private bathroom on the first floor of the property. Matt and I sleep on the top floor of the house so this is out of bounds but means you have a floor to yourself except when we need to use the stairs. We do a non contact check in and check out for your safety. We are always available on the phone if assistance is needed and will often be around the house but will give guests their privacy and their own space. The housing development is brand new and nestled between a car depot and the canal so it is extremely quiet. There is no road opposite the house so there is no traffic noise. It is extremely well connected being 10 minute drive to Coventry City Centre and railway station, a 3 minute drive from the Arena and a 5 minute drive from the M6 meaning it is very well connected. Free Parking is available on the street on the red brick tiles or in the visitor bays in front of the car park just around the corner from the property. The housing development is a 5 minute walk from the main bus route on the main Foleshill road. There are several different buses that can take you directly into Coventry in about 20 minutes or to Atherstone. A Coventry Arena Train Station & the Ricoh Arena are a 20 minute walk away (1.2miles). A 24 hour tesco extra, which is also beside a selection of shops and restaurants including a pharmacy is a 15 minute walk away, Lidl is a 10 minute walk way. Coventry is also walkable down the canal in daylight (just over 6.5km) or uber operates in the area and it is about an 8 minute drive and usually costs between £6-9. Children under 12 are free to stay in the room with up to 2 adults, bedding for children is not provided. Please make us aware of any children when you book. There are two house cats you may or may not see. We also have a dog, a young cockapoo. She is very friendly and good with other dogs. Pets are charged at £5 per night with a maximum of 2 dogs or cats at any one time and they are welcome to stay with you in your bedroom or downstairs at night. Use of the washing machine is extra. Small amount of fridge space is allocated for guests to use. Milk, butter, oil, tea and coffee are all provided free of charge. Please wash up after yourself after every meal.
