The Olive Tree House is a real country home whose original traditional look has been maintained in order to give its guests the opportunity of familiarising themselves with the genuine Corfiot culture and lifestyle. The house has the following rooms and bedding facilities: -1 Master bedroom with king size bed -1 Bedroom with a 3-seater pull out sofa which converts into two single beds (one stands lower to the other) -1 Bathroom with bath tub and shower -1 Living room with kitchen, dining and sitting area with a 5-seater corner sofa which converts into a generous double bed. Walking distance from beach, water sports, local stores, bakery, taverns, bars, swimming pools, and car, bike and boat rentals. Less than 30min driving distance from the town of Corfu, the port and the airport, golf and cricket facilities (bus service also available). The home owner will be the guests' single point of contact 24/7. The guest will be provided ahead of their arrival with the contact details of the owner (mobile, e-mail, (Hidden by Airbnb) name) and the house manager (mobile, e-mail). The Olive Tree House is placed in the old traditional village Liapades, the oldest village in the Paleokastritsa area. The neighbourhood has old buildings of historical and cultural importance and traditional recreation areas. From the house one can enjoy the panoramic views of a large green valley, the village's public school (an establishment of neoclassical architectural style, built in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , which is North Corfu’s most impressive building), a traditional playground, the Orthodox Church of Saint Thekla (the oldest church of the village, built in unknown times in a basilica architectural style). In our little village there are 14 beaches (some offering water sports), 4 water caves, taverns, bars and cafés, open to the public swimming pools, local shops, grocery stores, bakeries and a pharmacy. In the village one can find everything that one needs when in vacation. By car: At the airport or the port the visitors will be able to rent a car. The house is placed in a residential area with free street parking slots. By public transportation: The nearest bus stop is 30 meters away from the house. Buses leave regularly for the City of Corfu. Public transportation in Corfu is inexpensive (less than 5 Euro per adult). By taxi: Taxis can be found in the airport, the port and the town of Corfu.
