La Jolie Maison & La Grange Gites offer you oodles of green space, 6 acres of woodlands and a small lake. Lovely accommodation to meet the needs of couples and family groups. (Child friendly). In the village we have a convenience store, bakery, bank, pharmacy, Tabac / bar, butchers, fishmongers, a small market. 2 traditional stone houses. La Grange: 4 bedrooms. 1 double bed, 1 twin bedroom and 2 single bedrooms, 1 is on the ground floor. 2 shower rooms, 1 is on the ground floor. Sleeps 6. The second house, La Jolie Maison includes 3 bedrooms. 1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms. Sleeps 6. 1 shower room. A Courtyard garden set between the 2 houses. 2 large sets of comfortable tables and chairs with 2 stone built BBQ`s. Le Grange is an ideal house if you require a single bedroom on the ground floor with a WC and shower room. Quality bed linen and bathroom towels are provided. The space A large games room including a Pool table, Darts, WiFi, a wide variety of books, Board games, Netflix, Smart TV, childrens games, toys and comfortable sofas. “Great to relax in after a day out sightseeing." The outside space includes table tennis, badminton, football goal, swings and a solid climbing frame with slide and a play area. A swing down by the lake and seating to watch different kinds of wildlife around the little lake. Gaze at the stars at night, we have very little light pollution. We have 2 goats, 2 chickens, aTurkey, 2 miniature Daschunds a little rescue dog and our latest pets, 3 cats who provide hours of fun. We live next door in seperate accomodation and garden, so we are available to help you with making reservations at restaurants and general information to help you have a great holiday. Things to do in the surrounding area: There are plenty of outdoor fruit and veg markets around, a list is available. Brocantes (French car boot) most weekends during the summer. A list is available. We have our own small lake in the woodlands with Decorative fish. Lac De Guerledan - Water skiing, Wakeboarding, Kayaking/ Canoeing, Paddle boarding, Quad bikes, Pedalos. A walk around part of the lake or a 45 kilometre bike ride. Boat ride around the lake with a meal. 30 minutes. Adult Go Karting in Lamballe - 40 minutes. Fishing is just 10 minutes away at Bos Merleac. A license is required. Le Mont St Michel is just 1h 40 away and is one of Frances most recognisable landmarks. The closest beach to the North is Pleneuf-Val-Andre - 35 minutes. The closest Southern beach is Carnac - 1h 20. We love the north, Perros Guirec ( Pink Granite Coast) 1h 20 Saint Guillaume, Loudeac. Horse & Pony riding schools - 20 mins . Les Aquatides Swimming pool in Loudeac with water slides and sauna - 20 mins. Cycling - Geo caching ( You can download an app for this). There are cycle routes everywhere, including la Rigole d`Hilvern & Lac De Guerledan Manoir de L`automobile, Loheac - One of the biggest car museums in Europe - 1h 30 Other places of interest: Quintin, Bon Repos, Moncontour, Forges des Salles, Pontivy, St Brieuc, Josselin, Vannes, Rennes, Pontrieuex, Cap Frehel, Plancoet, Paimpont. We are in central Brittany so travelling in all directions of here is a breeze. La Grange has 2 shower rooms and 2 toilets. La Jolie Maison has 1 shower room and 1 toilet and air conditioning. There are no neighbours close except the hosts who live in a separate house with a separate garden area.
